Anyway, the cars of the two plants look today like cars of one enterprise, only of different classes. The bearing body of the new car Moskvich-402 was a rigid spatial truss, welded as one piece from several large subassemblies.

Most of the body parts are made in the form of forgings from mild steel sheet.
