Mar 06, 2017  So I rebuilt the PC using an SSD.as we do.But I need to recover the contacts from the Outlook 2016 (32 bit Office 365) OST files for 2 em. [SOLVED] Need OST to PST Converter recommendations. - MS Exchange - Spiceworks.

I know this has been asked before and the only reply was a link to demo software - I think that I should be able to do this for free by now (Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2007) surely? A user managed to hose his laptop disk and using a recovery tool I found a gap in his.pst archives being nicely plugged with a 7GB.OST file (no idea how this came about). I can see all his 2008-June 2011 emails in it when I download a demo version of a OSTtoPST tool but why should I have to pay for a tool to do such a task? If anyone can help I would be very grateful!

You can use outlook to do this recovery but it is a bit of a round-about way. Outlook itself will not let you attach an OST file. What you can do however, is configure Outlook under a separate profile with the user in question's connection (to build the proper authentication certificates).

Build it making sure to check the box for Offline use. Once it is connected, force outlook into offline mode (I usually pull the network connection as well just in case).

With outlook forced to offline mode, close outlook. You can now delete the OST file that was just created and replace it with the OST file that you wish to recover from. (NOTE: there is a process from task manager you will have to close that monitors the OST file to not let you delete it, I don't remember off the top of my head what it is, but i remember the name being fairly obvious.) Start Outlook back up (it should still be in forced offline mode. It will take a few minutes as it builds all the data from the Recovered OST file. Once it is up and running, move EVERYTHING over to a PST file, and you will be good to go. You can use outlook to do this recovery but it is a bit of a round-about way. Thanks Artie, that is kinda what I have done - I logged to a laptop as the user, made Outlook offline, closed it and replaced the.ost that was there with the recovered one and it opened with no probs. Since I managed to do that I have discovered the dates I am looking for are not on that.OST, I think I have lost the plot!

I was searching for a way to explain my recently frequent yeast infections and other related conditions stumbled upon your program on the internet. I suffered from chronic mouth thrush (with creamy white lesions on my tongue and inner cheeks). My baby daughter had the same problem in her mouth and your program was the only thing that helped us! I highly recommend your book to anyone who is perceptive about their health, and for those who are tired of being told that it's all in their heads. I feel so rejuvenated and lucky to have found this system.  2 weeks ago.
