I tried my best to focus on every section, but I still don't think I gave my best performance on the test. I feel a little bit disappointed that I didn't try as hard as I could on it, and spent a good portion of the test just wanting it to be over.
I marked probably an average of 15 questions per section, and I think I marked upwards of 25-30 on 2 of the sections. I really didn't feel confident on very many questions overall. Seemed to test a good mix of all subjects. Had no drug ad questions, and had 1 case-study scenario that had 3 follow-up questions. I had ~4 weeks of dedicated study time to prepare and used MTB, Uworld, Combank (for comlex) and online med ed videos (thought they were super helpful). I only took 1 NBME (exam 4 - scored 258) but that was almost 3 weeks ago and I feel like my stamina and knowledge base have dropped significantly since then.
I feel reasonably confident that I didn't score that high today. I had a wedding over the weekend and took COMLEX level 2 last week, so basically I didn't get to study anything for the past week. My test was pretty long (7 of my sections had 44 questions, and 1 had 42). Only had a few (3 I think?) stethoscope audio questions, and you could get them pretty easily without listening. Felt pretty terrible walking out of it. My advice - don't underestimate the test fatigue. I'm not sure that you can really prepare for this, but just something to be aware of.
Good luck all, happy to answer questions about it if you have any • • • •. Not sure what to do. I'm supposed to take my exam on Thursday. I'm currently sitting at an UW score of 75%. My step 1 score was a 230. My current NBME scores from 4, 6, & 7 have been 187 193 210 Took the free 150 today and got a 211.
